The Gold Rush was first created in early 2000s New York using American whiskey, lemon juice and honey syrup – a modern classic with roots in the whisky sour family. This Scotch interpretation uses DEWAR’S 15 year old whisky to bring a richer, smoother profile. The result is a bold yet balanced cocktail that combines bright citrus with warm honeyed character – a timeless serve with a distinctly DEWAR’S twist.

HOW TO MAKE A

DEWAR'S GOLD RUSH

Ingredients
  • 50 ml DEWAR’S 15 Year Old
  • 25 ml Lemon Juice
  • 2.5 Teaspoons of honey
Directions
  • Add all ingredients into a shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with cubed ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over fresh cubed ice.
  • Garnish with a lemon coin or twist.
