About our single cask Aberfeldy \u2018self-fill\u2019<\/h3>\n

Our visitors have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of a unique single cask Aberfeldy, exclusive to the Dewar\u2019s Aberfeldy Distillery. Fill and label your own limited edition bottle of Aberfeldy from one of our \u2018self-fills\u2019, each bottle individually numbered. Every cask we open is different, so we never know how many bottles we are going to get, generally dependent on the cask size and type, as well as the age of the whisky, we can expect anywhere from 150 to 600 bottles. And when the last bottle is gone, its unique taste passes into history.<\/p>\n

Cask No. 21443 is an ex-american oak cask, which gives a lighter colour and character compared to sherry or port casks. Bottled at 55.0% abv, cask 21443 was laid down in 2001, and was released from the warehouse in January 2018, with the last bottle being filled on site on 5th May 2018.\u00a0A total of 119 bottles were filled from this cask.<\/p>\n

Sweet,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Fruity, Oaky<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

SWEET<\/b>
\nSweet and inviting with white chocolate, cinder toffee and fudge doughnuts.<\/p>\n

FRUITY<\/b>
\nCitrus peel, white peach and conference pear mix with more floral hints of lemongrass and heather.<\/p>\n

OAKY<\/strong>
\nSweet charred oak, drying wood spice and cayenne pepper.<\/p>\n
